Abstract
I designed ‘The Reaper,’ a fast and deadly insect-human predator, starting with a 2D sketch that included a silhouette, front, and back view to guide the sculpting process. The block out, mid, high, and low poly sculpting, along with retopology, were all completed in ZBrush. I then refined the geometry and cut UVs in Maya. Textures were created in Substance Painter. Finally, I exported the model to Marmoset and Sketchfab for lighting and rendering.
